The cream coloured seats in my Fabia VRS are starting to get a bit grubby. I can't really afford to get the whole interior valeted, so has anyone got suggestions for the best products to clean the seats myself?
Cheers in advance for any help ![]() |

Fabric. Cream side panels with black seat and back panels. Don't want to just put on seat covers as I rather like my seats with the VRS logo embroidered in them.

Halfrauds cleaners are quite good, Use them on a spot which isn't seen first though in case it goes wrong.

forget Halfords mate i used to valet cars and i will tell you the best way and you wont belive it as i did not but then done it and could not belive it.
Johnsons talcum powder is what you need sprinkle it on the seat pads use a nail brush to work it in then make sure you have a powerfull vacum and vac it off you will be gob smacked if it was leather then fairy liquid in a spray bottle with loads of warm water in the sprayer bottle and again work it with nice soft nail brush then wipe clean and use leather feeder or saddle soap for finish |

I haven't found anything that gets rid of water stains, and I have nearly tried them all. However, I found autoglym interier cleaner the best of the bunch at hiding the problem. Spray it on, then use a damp microfibre pad/cloth and work the spay to a light foam on the surface, then vac off.
Seemed to work okay, Hope this helps a bit. Regards,

Yeah it's a combination of liquid spills and general grime I want to shift. Kids spilling stuff in the back, and me resting my grubby left hand on the passenger seat when I've been racing.

I use a VAX and it makes the seats come up a treat.

I clean my seats with handwash washing powder.
Get a clean white towel and plenty of elbow grease all my fabric seats come up like new. but in case you got some weird fabric check a small patch first somewhere non important. |
