Default RC Services, your thoughts?

Have just spotted this, a new model shop in Castle Donington are offering RC services, set up days & car building. Not sure if any body would pay for this?

The new track in the 'about us' section sounds interesting though.

Anybody know anything about these guys, Ardent Racing?

Model Shops always used to offer building services, at a fee of course!

Back in the day, i remember people paying good money to have teir cars built to a top spec. Very good jobs some guys used to do too, so i think some may still be prepared to pay for this.
Track does sound good too

Yep I suppose building services is nothing out of the ordinary. But not sure about set up and pizza evenings?

Haha, what ever happened to mates rates Gord?

Will be interesting to see what the buggy track is like and know what surface it will be?

I heard about this place when my bro travelled to Vegas for the IIC race, the guy (I forget the name) stopped over during a business trip to talk with Andy Moore about it.

Basically its going to be a shop with a couple of tracks (carpet on road, I recall dirt offroad mentioned), and they have BIG plans, available for testing 7 days a week etc.

Did anything happen with this Ardent Racing? Not heard any more about it!

Having looked at the site, the one person that used to be from Derby that springs to my mind is Greg Hill?

It's a guy called John Dawson and they are going to have 2 tracks as well as a shop; 1 carpet for TC/F1/12th scale etc and an Electric Dirt or Astro offroad track (surface TBC apparently but a leaning to Astro due to lesser maintenance).

I have had a few email conversations with him as it sounds like it could be a good venue and thought it would be good to show his venture some support.
