Default LiPo Balance Plugs & Ports

what do I need?

got some of these SMC LiPo's on loan and I'd like to balance charge on the Orion LiPo Clubmans charger but

the balance lead doesn't fit to the board that is supplied with the charger

have no idea what type balance plug it is or what is on the Orion balance board

The balance plug on the SMC's is called XH. You need a balance adapter board like the one you have with XH plugs on it.

The stock Orion balance plugs/board will use JST-EH plugs, as they are what Kokam use (Orion's cell supplier).

The SMC packs use the far more popular JST-XH plugs.

Just been into LHS and new version of board comes with the correct female on it to take the SMC battery plug

Also read somewere the MK2 version will charge without the BB plugged in but asks if you want to continue charging without were as th MK1 won't

if im right the little charge lead has 3 wires, two red and one black, the red outer and black outer will go to the cells and the middle red will be the ballance one,i would say you can use the main wires with the red plugs on to be the main charge leads then put the thin ballance lead if it will fit in the middle red hole on the white plug.........DONT DO THIS UNTIL THIS HAS BEEN CONFERMED BY SOME ONE WHO CAN SAY FOR DEFO
