Just got a savox SC-1257 servo for my b4 for xmas brand new , i have just plugged it in and reset everything on my dx3s and it seems to make a weird grinding/electrical noise and it only happens sometimes when i turn the steering is this common for "running in" the motor, as i have never bought a brand new servo so i dont know if it is common for a certain time period from new

hi mate
its ok most digi servos make this noise when in use as long as its working it should be fine |

I noticed that with my new savox one, I figured it was just running in. Plus I won't hear it when the cars running

all savox's do it nowt to worry about, ive got 4 savox's that ive had since january in rallycross cars and fitted my first gearset last week!!!!! servos are superb

as all the gears are metal they are a bit noisier than some other servos but once the car is running you wont hear it .they are really good servos got 4 in various cars .

i just wanted to check as my other mg servo doesnt make that noice
