Come and have a go at this fun xmas meeting, should be a great laugh!

Well what a superb evenings racing! Many thanks to all the FORCC club!

The evening started with a 1 hour endurance race! The club was split in to 4 teams, team captains were, Alan, Dave, Andy, Olly (I think!)

Each team had 10-11 drivers in it, we had 2 Hand Out transponders per team and each driver did 2 stints of 3-4 minutes.

You had to send out 2 marshalls per team, I must say some of the marshalling was very un sportsman like I must say! ( not naming names........Hog!)

So the event started, there was a bit of mayhem for the first drivers of the teams as they were pushing hard to give the team a good lead, after around 20 mins Team 3 had a 6 lap advantage but as the race drew on team 3 had some breakages from the up coming drivers in the team (Lee Millbourne, Darren Mills) so with the spare cars out we were underway again, the last 5 mins of the race Team 2 caught up with some good driving from Dave and Stu Rand, after 1 hours racing the race ended with Team 3 winning by 4 secs!! How close was that!!

It was a good race, some points worth mentioning were Mark Bailys B44 breaking a gear box and he then did the rest of his stint by running around the track with his car! everyone went for his ankles and he soon gave up that idea, anyway he seemed a bit slow at running!

Well done to Alans team and all the Juniors (Team 1) some great driving from our up and coming stars!

Elliot and Paul Smith were really laying it down giving the FORCC regular A finalist something to think about, well done to my team!!

We then had a break and time to repair the cars and get charged up for event no 2!

During the break we had the raffle, Many thanks to all that donated prized, we had everything from Whisky,Screw Drivers,MB model Tech vouchers and mobile phones! Everyone pretty much got a prize so happy days!

We then had a feast fit for a king! Thanks to the club for providing the great food and all the FORCC WAGS for cooking it all up for us!

Then onto event no 2! Tag team racing!

This involved 8 min races, 2 drivers per team, 4 teams, 4 races, points going to the overall result for the Xmas meeting.

You did a lap, came into the parking zone, then your team mate shot off for a lap and so on and so on for 8 mins, the team with the most laps one!

Team 2 won the first one, Team 3 won the second, Team 4 the 3rd race, and I forgot who one the 4th race...ooopps!

So drum roll please!..... the overall winners of the FORCC Xmas Meeting were....... Team 3 woo hoo!!!
