Default Rounded Pinion Grub Screw

Hey guys.

Was taking all the electrics out of my T2009 to go into my Mi4 when i realised that the grub screw in the pinion is completley rounded

If anyone knows how to get this or have experienced this please help me out. A Dremel is not an option as dont want to be paying cash to get one.

Please reasure i dont need to buy a new motor

use a pair of side cutters and carefully leaver the pinon of the shaft the grub screw should loosen up once its off if not throw the pinon away its cheaper than a motor

Default pinion removal

Try this,it might sound brutal but iv'e had to do it over the years.

Use a pair of pliers that can fit around the shaft without clamping on the shaft when closed and get someone to hold the pliers and the motor in there hands to absorb the punch, use a long 3mm cap head screw as this is slightly smaller than the 1/8th rotor shaft and slowly with the use of a hammer knock the shaft through the pinion,it will work,be carefull not to drop the motor and watch your fingers.

There's am Imperial size just a bit bigger than 1.5mm (1/16th I think) that you can jam in when you round a 1.5mm off.

It's got me out of a pickle a few times.
