Its a good brushed motor it might be a bit on the quick side. Remember you will have to skim it and rebrush its ALOT! it might be cheaper and easier to buy a brushless system.

under water?

I find that electric and water don't mix very well.

they are great motors

i was running one in my B44 indoors last winter & its as fast as everyone elses 6.5 motored cars
i found mine went off quite quickly & needed a light skim every 2 runs as you lose punch & brakes so if you have a lathe etc it wont be a problem
if you have to borrow one then you might get bored of keep asking etc
mine seemed to need loads of maintenance

i reckon you could get away with 1 skim after qualifying if you had to
fast motor at a good price

the plan is to get a 6.5 brushless but I want other stuff as well like a Ko Helios, new engine of rally x, lipo batteries, but I NEED to keep up with my pals running brushless, its embarasing with a 19t motor.
