Why do you have to run it until flat? Recomended storage for lipo's is 3/4 charged I think.

Were you doing anything differently? I know you've mentioned before you run it through wet grass. maybe the grass grew taller, and thus has increased drag?

Have you changed the brake settings? I know you mentioned before that you were having problems with the brake settings on the ESC, when the brake settings are set higher they normally increase the load on the ESC and can result in higher temperatures.

Have you considered maybe venting the ESC with small holes in the shell? Sometimes a good idea is to cut a decent size hole, and then put some fine mesh across; this stops debris entering the chassis.

Julius.

yes i changed the brakes to full power no drag on it and the back end lock up when you hit the brakes. but apart from that just solder a wire that had come off that it ,but the grass was a bit wet and a bit of mud but the car was still ripping the grass up

I thought the B4 was up for sale

You chop and change so much. Stick with a car a develop it and learn about it and the electrics.

I've run the same motor and ESCs etc. all summer season. I know exactly what to look out for and so on.

Get a 7.5 or 8.5 for the B4 (if you are keeping it)

Hang on so you are still running a car that's up for sale....

Sorry, but when I put something up for sale I don't use it so that's condition isnt' compromised etc. and the seller knows what they are getting.

If it's up for sale, clean it and put it to one side etc.

Should we be advising people not to purchase it then?

It sounds like you tamper with things too much.

I don't think it's good morals to sell something that could potentially have a problem. If I were you; you should either attempt to solve the problem, or list it as temperamental.

Julius.
