Hi all, i am new of the forum.....and also of the rc car world
![]() I have a simply question...... I have read that the Speed Passion Gt2.0 LPF support motor till 5.5T at 7,4V but I can be calm if I put a 6,5T speed passion v2.0 (550W and 6800kV) ? There's the risk to ruin all? This combo it's for a lazer sp 4wd off road for competitive race also. Ty for the help ![]() |

That combo will be fine...the esc would be happy running any motor slower than a 5.5t...right down to a 13.5t (or lower)

I run a V3 5.5 SP motor with my GT2.0 LPF and everything runs sweet as a nut. Motor barely got warm at kiddy on the weekend and even indoors last night at ludlow on polished floor it didn't get too hot to touch

What are the differences between the LPF and Pro? Also, do you need extras like caps/programming cards?

This is what i have dave (but the pro, not sure on differences), seems a very smooth speedo when combined with the 3.0 motors. Cracking idea of plugs on the end of the motors too!!
Setup unit, caps, cable etc all came in the box with mine!! http://www.m-k-racing.com/product_in...742607a4cd3a07

The only niggle I have is they only give you a 90mm sensor lead with the motor (3.0 new one) which is a bit short to go in the B44 without turning the speedo round making all the wiring untidy.
The next SP lead up is the 180mm which is a bit too long lol. My dad's ordered a 150mm LRP one which should be sorted I recon. Not a single complaint about my GT2.0 LPF + 5.5 v3.0 motor combo. Runs very cool for the output it gives! Will be popping another LPF and a 8.5 into my sc10 somewhere down the line I recon. |

Does the pro come with fan as standard but the lpf not? Looking for something in a B4 so low is good (hence low profile version??) |

I believe the plugs do come with the motors.
Both ESC's come with a fan i believe, but the LPF can't handle as much current. I believe this is due to the amount of FET's in there, but am not 100% sure.

plugs with my 3.0 motors mate!! great idea!
i know scott morgan was running the gt version without a fan in his b44 at the weekend with NO heat issues whatever. Be ideal in the b4 mate, oh and get the longer sensor lead for the b4 ![]()

I have a friend who has the lpf of the GT2.0 and it does come with a fan, but MattW is correct, it can't handle as much current. 5.5 and above for lipo whereas the Pro version is 3.5 and above I think.

I can confirm the motors come with the plugs
the GT2.0 LPF I have came with a fan. I'm 99% sure both the LPF and PRO are the same size physically. like someone above said the LPF is limited to a 5.5 on lipo/6 cell. |
