which motor same as lrp 3 star

Currently running an old version of lrp sphere speedo which is 3 years old and i used a lrp 3 star motor with it for years.As these type of motor is no longer available what motor can be used safetly on this speedo 5.5-6.5??????.This isn't the competion speedo

the old 3 stars were similar to a 6.5 as far as i'm aware. Although with the new generation of motors you will probably get similar performance from a 7.5

Thanks jim76, ps do all sensored motors like the losi excelorin work with this speedo as they are much cheeper than most on the market.

all sensored motors should work with it as they have a standard sensor wire connector.
