Unhappy Last Night

Well…..

After my useless attempt of the Wednesday night racing last night I have just rang Modelsport and explained that something went wrong with the Motor/ESC after a few mins racing…..

The guy on the end of the phone (who sounded like if I said BOO to him he would fall over and die LOL) didn’t seem like he really knew what he was talking about.
He said I got to send the set back with a covering letter stating my order number.
They will then send it back to Nosram and it will take around 2 weeks for me to get a replacement, 2 WEEKS??? DAMN!

That now means I won’t be able to do the first round of the winter series…

Also, I have decided that as I was only going to do the winter series at FORCC (6 days) im not going to worry about getting the B44 now, im just going to stick with the RB5, then I will sort a B44 out for next years winter series.

I would just like to thank Dave (Hog) for you help last night, also the guy who booked me in, sorry I didn’t catch your name, but I do remember you saying you don’t reply to threads so I will never know your name LOL.
Thanks to Steve Smith for the shock oil, and also to Lee Drake for advising me on the ESC. (Good luck at the weekend Lee )

I am a bit gutted I didn’t get to race, as I thought that my laps were quite consistent and I wasn’t that far off keeping up with some of you guys when we was practicing, so I guess once my tyres bed in a bit I should be on for a good season.

See you all again very soon
Karl (im the newbie that steals peoples pitting spaces LOL)

Hi Karl,

Alan is the man who booked you in.

Shame you had mechanical woes last night. Hope to see you back racing soon.

Dave.

I also went to Faversham for the first time a few weeks ago, and sadly like you I destroyed my speedo. (Thought it was the motor at the time, but turned out to be the speedo).

I am nearly up and running again with a new speedo and slower 13T so may go back again soon

Bad day at work always brings out the truth so they tell me,
