Exclamation Sports Centre Refurbishment

The Sports centre has advised it is currently having a refit to the main sports hall, including the installation of a new floor surface.

Consequently our indoor venue will not be available until at least November.

As a result, the club proposes to continue meeting weekly at the outdoor venue, weather permitting.

Please continue to check the club website for further updates.

A new floor surface! Great news! Hopefully it'll be less like an ice rink.

In my opinion more outdoor racing is great! It's more cost effective using the outdoor facilities anyways. Oh and an ace track...
Might see you guys sunday

I haven't spoken to Dianne in person yet, but from what info i got in the text, it would appear it will not be a polished floor.

Now if that means a rubberised one (eg like the old Harrogate indoors) or something like an indoor running surface (eg Bury Metro indoors) I have no idea

Time will tell

If it's rubberised we hopefully won't need the carpet anymore. Could get that flogged and will be easier to put out/take in the track

Left up to me, we would run without carpet, even on the polished floor

I like the idea of rubberised, somewhere else to use my old tyres

New surface?! That's really cool! I'll be racing my Associated B4 in there during Winter months! Hopefully stock tyres will be suitable to the new surface.

I don't know where's that indoor racing place. Can anyone give me an address for that place or something?
