Hi again..

Got the car today and was quite impressed, came with lots of nice ally bits, front bulkhead, outdrave savers and the trinity shock bushings...

I took the car apart as the rear diff was a little ruff... Bit of a bugger taking it all to bits to do just the diff but oh well...

I noticed it hasnt got a slipper? But it does have the clicker, can i simply put a slipper in the car? or do i need loads of new bits and some modification?

Tah, Tom

Access to the rear belt and diff. can be made simpler and quicker by cutting the rear upper chassis cover, at an angle just to the right of the two bolts that secure that cover over the left hand end of the rearward layshaft!
Hope that makes sense?

And the buggy should very definitely have a slipper assembly!
On the other end of the layshaft where your clicker assembly is and with two differing pads dependant on which belt, front or rear.

And it should be fairly obvious with the adjusting nut and cone washer arrangement sticking out the right hand side of the buggy!

Tom should defently have a slipper assembly in it.

Alot of people dont recomend cutting the top belt cover as it decreases the stiffness of the chassis and lets dirt in.

Also remove the alloy bulkhead.

This might sound mad but its not a streat weapon someone has put the xx4 shock towers and wishbones on is it.

If you dont you will end breaking a front wishbones every run. The white bulkhead is softish so gives a bit of play so reduces the chance of snapping them.

To be fair Ash, Tom (Chris) is pretty good, so he'll not be smacking into stuff on every run, so he should be OK.

If you have spare wishbones to play with the alloy block is OK, wishbones will give in a heavy impact, and are easy to change.

The alloy block will help save the lugs on the chassis in a big run-in.
