Steering Problems

Hey looking for abit of help with my car.
For some reason im not getting as much turn to the right than when i turn left.
The servo horn is moving fully both sides but the inner wheel doesnt seem to lock over as much on right turns.

Can anyone help?

I glued up the servo saver on my x6^, this cured any steering problems I've had.

Another thought, have you checked your radio to see if any EPA and/or EXP you may have set is equal on both sides? It's often set independantly for LH and RH movement.

And, whilst you are at it, check that your steering bellcranks (what a dumb word) are pointing straight forwards when your steering is set as straight.

check the hubs arent hitting the wishones on full lock we had to grind the ball joints and hubs to stop them catching,also check the back of the servo saver arm isnt hitting the center post from the chassis

I checked out all the things you have mentioned and the servo saver
does seem to hit the centre post.

Has anybody else had this problem and how can it be resolved?

Are you using a Team Associated servo arm???
Ive had catching problems when using other arms, and fixed it byusing the standard AE B4 arm.

Is your servo spaced too far forwards??

what x6 is it

3 gear 4 gear or a x62

on the origional 3 gear you have to trim away the middle and right post the b4 front end fits on

what you have to do is grind down the center post were it catches, it is the older style chassis with the removeable nose cone,

Mine is the 4gear x6 with removeable nose yes.

You can also make sure you centered your servo beore you mounted the horn on.

Ah, if it's the 'old' car then on full lock it defo used to catch the centre post, needs trimming back with a dremmel

its nothing to do with the servo or the servo horn

problem sorted

thanks for the help. will certainly help when racing at astro masters this winter.
It was fouling on the centre post and slightly on edge of chassis as pointed out.
