Default Ansmann Master Smacker

Im new to this and looking for my 1st car and all kit involved....budget has to be key word....Ive seen a lot of the above car in my price range...is it any good for racing?

I've used mine at the Roundabout Raceway - Worked fine for an RTR and won one of the 4wd heats.

It ain't the fastest car but it does ok and is quite well suited to a slippy track (as it is full time 4wd) - would have got slaughtered if I'd used it at Bury though as the grip there means the brushless cars can really use the power available.

The speed control in the RTR version is a pain as you have to calibrate it every time you use it (plug in, push forward, wait, push reverse, ready to use) and as I said in the other thread you made, the radio gear is 40mhz AM so not great.
