Default TC3's Advice needed

Hi,

Picking up some TC3 rolling chassis over the weekend.

Plan on putting a brushless/ESC combo in the car.

Looking at the Novaks, SS with 8.5 or Havok with 10.5.

Strictly for indoor club racing & fun

Any advice on a setup for this car would be appreciated.

Also what would you guys recommend as a good tyre for running on a polished wooden floor?

Many Thanks

using a tc3 with a 9 turn brushless, will be a great club car, quick, reliable and very strong. to be honest the 9t is a bit too much for it so go for the 10.5. 9t 4300kv is on 23t pinion with std spur and is about spot on. the only issue you may have is if you have the plastic diff outdrives you may melt diffs, i had to but steel outdrives on rear.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies & advice.

Thinking about this combo: LOSI XCELORIN S 10.5T BRUSHLESS COMBO FOR 1/10TH SCALE

and these Lipo's: TRAKPOWER 3600MAH 2S1P 30c

I just want to get around the track without embarrassing myself

The setup above costs £158 (ESC / 10.5 & 3600MAH 30C pack)

Anybody out there using any of these bits?

Thanks in advance
