Hello.
I have just install the TRF Shocks in my DF-03 and I would like to know the hardnees of the diferent color of the springs. I hope you can understand my question. My idea is to prove those shocks with the DF-03 chasis in a couple of weeeks racing at Mbv club in Belgium. ![]() Best regards and thanks for your help. Fernando ![]() |

Hi. I think we talked on another forum and you were running Losi springs on 3-racing shocks. Glad you did so well with the DF-03. Mine doesn't like to jump. Haha.
Are you talking about the TRF white springs with coloured dots? Red dot is softest, yellow is medium, blue dot is hardest. Do you also have the DF-03 spring set (black, gold, silver)? Black is softest, silver is medium and gold is hardest. The softest one here (black) is still harder than the hardest white one (blue dot). Also, the white rear springs are longer. There's also the DF-02 spring set (red and blue, and yellow if you buy the DF-02 damper set). Lastly there is the steel coloured spring from the CVA kits and buggy kits (DT02,DF02,DF03), which is too stiff to be used anywhere. Edit: I thought earlier that gold was medium for the DF-03 set, but now I think gold is the stiffest. Sorry. Corrected it above.

Hello Sim.
Yes, we talk long time ago about the Losi springs on 3 Racing Shocks. You are right, I was talking about the color dots in the white TRF springs, I take note and I'll imform you in the future about those TRF shocks in the DF-03 chassis, Thanks very much. ![]() |

Eotz,
Sorry, I just compared again and now I think the gold is the stiffest for the DF-03 set. Edited the post above already.
