Default Glue on the diff plates?

Is it worth glueing or rather thread-locking diff plates onto the halves?

I had problems with one of the plates spinning - seems a good idea to thread lock them into place.....

Any potential problems with doing this ?

all you do is fill the gap in the diff half with the grease you use in the diff, then put the diff washer on it that should stop them slipping.

Yeah, deffo grease..

I tried glueing them,., To be honest the glue would set not perfectly flat , so the balls would have there work cut out.
My glued rings always used to come off and then it would squeel lol...

Deffo use grease, and all should be well.

Umm, probably a dumb question but what sort of diff is it? 501X deffo grease, but if it's a stock DB01 (durga/baldre) diff then you need to use glue.

Default Diff

It's a 501x I thought it may be worth glueing to keep them in place but going off what others are saying it seems that grease is the way toward
