Default 4800 TrakPower lipos in B44?

Anyone running the 4800 TrakPower lipos, or any other 30mm high LiPo in their B44?

If so, can you post some pics of the install please?

Thanks

When I ran them in my B44 I used the diggety designs lipo cradle for these as it came with longer posts.
You should be able to achieve the same height effect with spacers and longer screws going up through the chassis.

I remember that both the link cable and the esc power wires needed to have the side exit male corrally connectors fitted to clear the bodyshell.

I may still have a photo of it at home, will look later.

Interesting Shy, I didn't find that the battery connectors fouled the body on my B44, so was able to run them like the D4 on your site.

I'm sure you're right. I use the D4 shell on my B44.

Ah in that case the D4 shell can't offer quite as much clearance. I know when I changed to the J Concepts shell I gained more clearance than the original shell.

I run them in my b44 and it is tight between rear top deck and connector points if using a craddle. I have hex bolts going into my alu posts with 2 o rings on top of straps. Not ideal but ok and have to loosen to charge :0(

just be carefull that no metal from your leads (if they wear when rubbing top deck) touch the rear top deck as the carbon is a conductor and can short the battery !! End results swollen hot lipo not good

Ive switch bettery very recently as
1) there are better batteries out there
2) to much hassle

4800 and 20c ??

Just because you run them Chris ....... (3200mah and 20c)

Put your hand in your pocket and get some 5000 35c or 40c saddles

Which are also a better fit not MASSIVE !!

You know it makes sense

Give me a month-ish and ill show you some new LiPo's

5000mAh 35C lipos are all good, but thats alot of power to try and tame lol

My 3200 25C LiPo's might explain why I won last Friday lol

Relax

Nobody would argue that your driving was good. This thread was about B44 lipos? I believe that there are many that would argue which of these are better.

See you and your Trak lipo Friday buddy
