I would search the forum as this question as been asked loads of times and everyone will have a differant opinion on what they like anyway , go for what you think you will get on with shaft drive / belt drive, theres your budget and parts availibilty to think about aswell as set up advice.

2wd have a look at the obvious 3, the xfactory x6, the team associated b4, and the losi xxx cr. 4wd have a look at the associated b44, the xfactory x5, Tamiya trf 511 or 501x, hotodies d4, or you could even have a look at my jconcepts bj4we in the for sale section right now

I race the x6 i 2wd, and about to start racing the 501x worlds in 4wd. the x6 has been a great car so far. no complaints, and parts are readily available in this country. if your on a tight budget, as previously suggested, have a look at the for sale section on here as there are a number of bargains to be had. Dont forget to have a think about the electrics too, lipo are the way to go these days, and brushless speedos too. it all mounts up!!! good luck.

Best thing to do is to go to a 1/10th track/meeting and see if you can try out some of the peoples different cars then you can find which car you like the feel of best as theres no best 1/10th buggy out there.

If i was looking at swiching over from 18th to 10th id be looking for somthing thats strong, easy to drive, you can pick up spares easly at track side and is race prooven.

The B44 screams all of this and they are bomb proof and just seem to work effortlesly. The worst thing you can do is look for somthing too complicated...

Agreed with the above. Also depends on costs etc. I've got a B4, but now moved to a Losi XXCR (XXCR is easier to drive, but question over parts).

B4 is the popular choice at Titchfield.

Yokomo is an option too- cheap and fast, but you gotta say the B44 is good and a constant performer.
