Default Spider effect paint

Years ago and I mean years ago I had some paint that sprayed like a spider (ish) effect across the shell and then you did you colours on top etc.

Anyone know where to get such paints these days.

If you get another shell from me (just booked a holiday so ££) it'll be another Aston Martin or surprise me job for a XX shell

Also what is the best way to protect the inside of a shell etc? Add a finishing coat?
