The GM are awesome-but very technical, u have to program it on laptop.

The Nosram/LRP are just as good if you get the stock spec ESC.

The Tekin is also a very advanced esc and that is all programed on laptop.

If you want to be really competetive you need an esc with variable timing like the above, basically as you accelerate the esc cranks the timing up and then when u hit top speed the timing auto cranks back, and this makes a massive differance as its keeping the motor in its best window at all times.

If you cant stretch to the above maybe just get a nosram istc/lrp as these are the best of the non variable timing esc's i believe, regards to motors, any of the 10.5's on the brca list are as good as each other, its the esc that will make the bigger differance.

HTH, jonny

It all depends on what your criteria is for the best. At the end of the day they all have to provide power to a motor in a controllable and efficient way. If you want more top end speed then the timing advance of the Speedpassion and Tekin speed controllers are great but the Speedpassion does have a larger case size and can be difficult to fit if space is an issue. The LRP/Nosram as very good as well but lack the timing advance. I am preferring the Tekin RSPro at the moment over the LRP/Nosram as I do not mind playing with laptops to set-up my speed controllers. One of the best things I like about the Tekin is that it will still operate even if the sensors cannot be read which can be great in the wet. Some speedos will just stop working or even worse end up having a catastrophic failure in these cases.
