Default X10 feels different with xbrace on?

Ive just done the stick pack mod on my x10 and fitted the xbrace and x11 steering arms at the same time. Since ive done this the pred feels much stiffer at the front and is giving me less steering. Ive been told the xbrace alters the way the shocks act in some way, allowing you to run thinner oil. Is this true and what weight oil should i try. Im running the standard x10 shocks with rebound valve in(i like the feel with it in) but dont know what weight oil i was using to start with (havent had it long)
Any ideas guys?

The steering was catching but ive filed enough away to be alright. Havent added any weight yet so that may not be helping (tho i never run any with lipo saddles either)
Ill pass you on the first corner again!, next time were in the same final mr samd! use a 2.5t if you like. It will make no difference! Lol

mmmmh....

use 2 holes for the piston front and rear, 40 oil at front without the rebound valve, and 30 at the rear.
spring 6.5 at rear and 6 at front. i use it for slippery track

thanks for the reply mate. Isnt 30 weight for the rear a little too thin? looking at most general setups, people seem to use either 45 or 50 wt. If it helps i plan to use the pred mainly outdoors

most set ups since I have started studying about the car is between 30 and 35.

I know in older set ups that I found did run higher weights, but as with every car, development equals changes.

Softer oil also goes with chassis changes to add additional rear droop.

if you are running big bore shocks then the thinner oil is fine. if you are running the kit x10 shocks then stay with the thicker oils

if you run on slippery track, make the car soft, if the track have more grip, make the car little hard...for me the car with the rebound valve at the front do not jump enough.
for me if you can change the standard shock with other...it's better
