Mystery electronics failuire

Hi all,

I have a strange mystery for you.

After stripping my car down last week i put it back together and thought i would take it for a run.

When i turn it on the reciver was dead no lights nothing. I tryed the reciver in another car and confirmed it was dead.

I bought myself a new reciver and tryed again but this time i had no steering.

I tryed the sevo in another car and confirmed this was also dead.

I replaced the servo in my car and all was working again.

Can anyone tell me how both my reciver and servo could pack up just like that.

What could have caused it.

The reciver was not a cheap one its a R603FF
The servo is not cheap either a ACE1015

The other question is can i get these fixed as they are both less than 12 months old.

Who do i need to contact. Does anyone have any names and numbers.
