Default xx4 Worlds Edition

Hi All

New to the Losi section, but not oople

I am looking into getting one of these. I have seen one at the local club and it seems to go really well.

I currently have a ZX5, has anyone ever had both that can comment?

Also not too sure how i tell the Worlds from the normal xx4 apart. I have seen one for sale on ebay but the seller is not sure if it is a worlds or not

I have attached some pics, could anyone comment? Also what to you think it is worth? Looks a bit tired to me?

Cheers for the quick response mate. This is what he mailed me with

"Hi, i bought the car from a friend last year so im not 100% sure how old it it. Its in good condition so i think its only a couple of years old. The car is complete and in full working order. The belts are fairly new and there are a couple of spare belts that i will put in the box All you need to get it running radio gear, servo, cells and a motor. As i said the i did not buy the car new but given that it has threaded shocks, trick shock shafts and the graphite chassis i thinks its the worlds spec."

How much would it cost to restore though? What do you reckon it's worth?

A lot of that may not be needed, diff balls and shocks shafts might be fine. diff plates, shocks seals and ball cups are pennies.

XX4 WE is one of the best car out there, unfortunately Losi won't think to another XX4 for twenty century .

Let's try all together to send a lot of emails to Losi to ask some news.
I sent mine but with no result, in the meanwhile we will wait for something new.

yeh you cnnot even buy the xx4 new anymore and everyone steers clear of the xxx4 as it is a bit poor the best option would be to make a single belt xx4 (have heard a rumour that someone does it allready ) but have often thought about getting a xxx4 just to see if they are as bad as everyone says but it's alot of money just to buy a car you know isnt as good as the one you are already driving lol I have ben lucky enough to get hold of a mint condition xx4 off oople and did get a pm from someone with a brand new one for sale but didnt have a price for it also saw a brand new one on e bay in the states
