Default Any shower experts?

My electric shower is playing up. The temperature control no longer works and the water is only coming out hot. At odd times it works properly but mainly just comes out too hot. A few weeks ago the temp was fluctuating for a few mins, then settled at the correct level. Any ideas? I don't get a low pressure light and it was installed a year ago.

Cheers

More expense, id rather find a cheap fix than buy a new one. Im already shelling out for new worktops, tiles, dishwasher, fridge freezer, cooker, etc.

No, but it's getting power so i doubt this is the problem.

Thats great news but what about the shower

My oven is slowly dying, the bottom oven is dead already, the top oven works but the alarm goes off randomly and makes a weird noise. Time for a new one me thinks, it's only 2 years old too

http://www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=43774

I have a triton opal 9.5kw shower. I use it on the lowest temperature setting (the dial will only go as low as 4 on the high button setting) but water is scalding hot
To check if the inlet filter's blocked, turn the shower on and adjust to the coldest setting. Does the water flow greatly improve or remain rather weak? If the latter I suspect a blocked inlet filter.

Just a few quotes from the site read it all you may find your prob.
I had a triton years ago never again nothing but problems.

Thought about it 10 hours ago, but then dismissed it as childish humour.

Faulty equipment is no joke.
