The advantage with Tekin is that you can update the software directly from the website. It will also carry on running in sensorless mode if the lead should fail or hall sensors get damaged/wet. Its also probably the smallest Brushless speedo available!

The new range of Redline motors are also excellent!

Any idea when will we see the RS Pro Tekin systems commercially available? I'd quite like one of them

The advantage of a Novak is you don't need to bother updating it

The Losi one is fantastic, plus you can plug it straight into the card to adjust the setup, or a laptop with a bit of software. For £120 it's awesome!

but if ya could ya would

another vote for the tekin rs pro here. has already saved me a run when it was in the wet as i finished when very few others did and there was a rather large puddle around my speedo when i took the shell off so a big thumbs up from me

My stuff is better than your stuff etc

I heard somewhere that LRP and Nosram actually have a different number off FETS (LRP have more) is this true

no idea about the Nosram/LRP thing.

I am just as guilty of fan-boying LRP as much as everyone does for their own sponsors, but all I can say is that I ran LRP speedo's long before I was sponsored by them, and I have been running Factory for LRP since 2000 and at no point have I ever wanted or needed to change.

saying that 'they are all the same' is not strictly true, they are pretty different, right from the price, product and after sales support.

as im not sponsored by either of them i guess im not biased but out of the 2 i would say Novak
purely because i had 2 LRP's last year and they both went Poof !!!!!!!!
2 Novaks this year and never had a problem with either

Orange is better

I am sponsored by any of the major brands either, dirven the LRP for the last 3yrs no problems at all. Also driven the Tekin, can't say I noticed any differance. Also use to use the Novak when I was brushed, and again excellent...

So to summarise, I think its all down to personal preferance...
