Default What Front 2WD Tyre ?

Ok after buying a set of tyres from my usual place i found that when they arrived, they were the same as a set i already had and thought were not right.

I'm new to 2WD, so my question to you guys is...

What front tyre do you use ?

I can guess at the Schumacher Mini Spike, but what i'm Really after is a Part Number.

I will reveal all once i have some replies...

Cheers, Russ.

Ok, you've answered what i have...

Looks bloody Horrible though. Doesn't sit right anywhere !

Why can the fronts be made to actually Fit the wheels ?

Strange. Don't get that kinda thing in TC or Rallycross...

So, i've also just discovered that the ones i've been running on the Front are U6515. now these fit pretty nice. But what are they ? 4WD Fronts maybe...

Cheers.

U6515 are green 4WD fronts.
When using slim fronts on a wide wheel you can either stretch the tyre over the wheel and use a 4WD front insert to stop the tyre from becoming concave or you can use a 2WD front insert and glue the tyre to the inside rib on the wheel.

The narrow front tyres do effect the car diffrenty from the wide ones. Ive never had a problem fitting narrow front tyres on wide wheels. What wheels are you trying to fit them on?

Just common as muck Associated and Proline ones...

I guess i just come from a background where they are both made to fit each other and not where one is Stretched to fit... And not that well at that.

Oh well...

Cheers again guys.

Russ, it's the stretched profile that helps get the handling we want though, hence why everyone does it.
