How do I stop junk email

As you can see below the last few months I have been swamped with junk emails offering everything from enhancement pills to degree,s. I have blacklisted nearly all of them but still they keep coming any ideas how to stop this shite. My blacklisted list is now over 1500. Everytime i look at my emails there a whole new bunch. apparently i have about 12 bank accounts which need urgent replies. Now and again they leave their real email addresses and boy do they get some shit back at them I sign them up for every porn site I can find

More likely some bugger from ebay as they get your email addy when you use paypal

How do you collect your email?

I've recently stopped using Thunderbird, instead prefering Google Mail - it can collect mail from other POP accounts - I like the ability to check all my mail addresses in one place, via the Internet. With the new themes installed, it's also easier to read than Thunderbird.

Google Mail also has pretty effective spam filtering (derived from feedback by all their users, not just you) - check for and unspam the odd false-positive, but it works.

When using Thunderbird, I installed the Habu plugin, and reported the spam to a swathe of sites on a frequent basis.

I just use freedom 2 surf,s own email site but will have to look into your suggestion thanks

They will for sure allow POP access to that account. Sign up for a Google Mail account, then add your POP settings (should be somewhere on the Freedom 2 Surf website) in the Settings>Accounts page, and look for the "Get mail from other accounts: (Download mail using POP3)" option.

You can have Google Mail label it as belonging to that email address. You'll also have a Google Mail address - I find it's useful to have more that one email address for different purposes. You'll want to setup sending mail by different accounts too.
