Default Saddle Lipo Queries

Demon have one of theirs available, leads me to 2 queries:

1. It's 4200mah but says 1c is 5 amps. Does this mean it's actually 5000mah and a lower c rating than the 35 quoted?

2. I have a trakpower type balance cable and link wire (so linkwire goes between 2 cells with the balance lead connecting into this). Presumably I can balance any saddle lipo like this, and not have to use the 3 wire lead thing included?

It says on the additional info on the website "it has a 1c rating of 5, so set to no more than 5 amps MAX". Just wondered what that meant?

I've seen that on a few of Demon's packs. I don't know if there is a technical reason why a 4200 pack can have a 1C charge rating of 5 amps or if it's just Demon's way of saying it's okay to charge them at 5 amps.

Cheers guys. On the balancing issue, do you know if I'm right about being able to ignore the leads that come with the cell and use a TP method instead?

Yes I think you'll be fine balancing using the TP style lead, I think the supplied lead is just to support chargers with the JST-XH balance connector.
