Default internal ratios / gear ratios

Someone gave me a gearchart for the 501X and I wondered how do you work out the internal ratio for a car ?

I mean, any car. on a bj4 for example, is it the diff gear divided by the gearbox pinion ?

internal ratio is diff gear/pulley gear, that gives you a number (36/16=2.25)

To find the overal ration you do

(Spur/Pinio)*internal ratio=FDR (remember BODMAS from kiddies maths)
