ive had this for about a year now. It lived in my b4 for most of the time and performed faultlessly. The included program ing card works great and it does exactly what it says on the tin. Ive recently tried it in my 4wd at the last round of worksop and i wouldnt really recommend it if this is what it is intended for. I spent all day on full throttle and couldnt keep up. Plenty of punch and speed in the 2wd but no acceleration in 4wd. Excellent value if you want to try brushless. You need lipo tho to really get the most out of the motor. (as with all motors - its the future!)

Note that the 9t is a 380 motor with heatsinks making it the size of a 540, while the 8.5t combos are real 540.

They're great value.

EZ run also do a 5.5t motor with a bigger esc and proagram card. Its up on ebay for about 70 quid at the minute. Mine should be here tomorrow. I cant say how impressed ive been with the smaller combo. Will let you know what its like if your not in a rush to buy the losi.

My experience with this Ezrun is the 3000KV 35A Combo which I tried in my mardave mini indoors (Carpet Circuit Racing). Good value but a bit like a switch in terms of smoothness. A driver needs to be very very good on the sticks to make the best of this, needless to say I was 2 laps down on my standard car set-up. I now run the Losi Combo (13.5) which is very good and easy to drive.
I have not yet tried the Ezrun speedo in 2wd Off-Road say with a 10.5 Brushless, it may be fine as smoothness may be less of an issue. I hope so as I need to use this for something.

Hi Nolan
It's the Losi Excelaron/13.5 Combo (if thats how you spell it?). A touch expensive for the ""Dave" at £117.00 but it does work well and is very easy to drive.

Thanks Charlie,

So a 13.5 motor should be fine for the Mardave as a stock brushless?

Default BRUSHLESS COMBO

Don't waste the extra money on the LOSI go for the EZRUN 5.5. Fast, smooth, good brakes and easy to set up. £70 ish bargain.

I second what aaron said. My 5.5t is great. Its made hobbywing who also do the speed passion esc's. Lots of esc's are the same as more expensive ones but are cheaper because they dont carry a brand name. i wouldnt waste my money on others. It is only a sensorless combo but if geared correctly you shouldnt have any problem with cogging / jittery acceleration. Buy one! Mine cost 63 quid- bargain
