Default V12 advice - newbie gear question

Had a look at the Wirral on-road track on Tues and it all looks fun!

I'm still not exactly sure what I need to get racing (crashing...).
I have radio gear but need everything else.

I could get straight in with a brushless setup since that's the way it obviously going (seems that way anyway), or might be smart to pick up other folks cast-offs for cheap as possible?

So I've got radio, servo & RX.
What else do I need and what specifics do people recommend?
V12
Batteries
Charger
Power supply (?)
Anything else?

A guy from the wirral Forum from this board is selling batteries for what seems like good price as well as a cheap Caterham.

Initially I liked the look of the Caterhams but no bugger seems to race them - those front wheels a bit exposed?

Thanks for any help.
Peach

Hi Peach,

You may get some help here, or if not try the dedicated 12th oval forum

http://brca12thoval.createforum.net/phpbb2/index.php

I race v12`s and I started by just buying a second hand one.

I`ve never race a caterham so can`t comment on that.
