What 2nd hand brushless system?

Hello all,

I am considering getting back into 10th off-road. I am on a very tight budget, but I would still like to go down the brushless route.

Are the Nosram Matrix's the only type available with lifetime warranty? assuming they were bought from the UK of course?

Or, does the LRP system have a warranty too?

How much am I going to need to spend for a 2nd hand speedo?

Also, are lipo's legal for the 2009 season? for the west midlands regionals. I'm assuming they'd have to be on the brca list.

both the nosram and the lrp now have a 25 year warrenty rather than a life time one. as for price have look in the second hand section as there are a few in there and that should give you a rough idea. as for lipo have a look on www.brca.org for the list as it has recently been published so you will find all the info there that you need

Should be Chris (Re: Lipo)... I would get 2 or possible 3 packs if you can stretch to it. Are you doing 2wd or 4wd?

Might be worthwhile emailing Tom Yardy, as he is our regional rep now (I think). I have his email address if your interested.

Most of the well liked brushless stuff goes for good money. We recsently sold a LRP sphere for £65 on EBAY (Speedo Only). See my post on the EZRUN 5.5 thats brand new for £70 ish, motor and speedo. Seems good.

Hi Mark!

Cheers for the reply. I'll check with Tom Yardy before I buy anything.

I'll be doing 2WD. I'll be looking for a B4 soon ish. Hopefully I'll be up and running again soon!
