Well it looks like they may well be on the grid for 09 but unfortunately 300 odd jobs could be lost at the HQ, which is a real shame. Still it's better than everyone being axed. |

The only definite is that it's looking like they will be on the grid at Melbourne and Button will be driving one of the cars, everything else is speculation.
As for losing jobs, as the wind tunnels aren't allowed to be running 24/7 any more and there's no more need for a test team any more, every team will be shedding loads of jobs.

When I say official, I mean the team making an official statement. Looks likely now though. Coolio! As for aero jobs, wind tunnel testing doesn't affect CFD, and F1 aerodynamicists are multidisciplinary. |
