Is there any value in a Windows 98SE Desktop anymore?

Time has now come to get rid of my old Windows 98SE desktop, HP printer and CRT monitor.

Is there any value at all in these now? If it is worth selling, am I better off re-installing Windows to a formatted drive or does the lack of support from Microsoft mean that there are no security updates available for download?

And if there is no value, is there a charity or recycler I should give this to rather than stick it in landfill?
