Default Can I damage a Lipo by...

...accidently fully charging it a week before I need to!

Just wondered if it could hurt it, basically forgot it was on charge and only remembered when it beeped as fully charged, not sure if I should run it a bit to drop the charge level, or if its ok to leave it?

No damage should have occured,
LiPo dont have the hideous self discharge of Nickle based cells. so they should be fine. Probably wont need topping up just measure the cell voltage should be 4.16- 4.2V but no higher, if ok just go ahead and use them.

I have always recharged mine when I've finished racing ready for practice the following week. As far as i'm aware there is no problem in doing this, and the voltage is still at 8.4 volts the following week.

lmao did i chip it then
was suprised after the impact as all i did was to break a ball joint and crack a wheel. not bad for flat out into a concrete pillar half way down a straight. must thank the nameless person who gave me a helpfull nudge in there dispite being lapped and right behind the leader lol
