Default SMC Saddle pack in X-5

I am 99% sure i will be picking up an X-5 and i would like to use the saddle packs i already have...Is anyone running an SMC hard case saddle pack in an X-5? If not how about any other hard case lipo saddle packs? I am looking for installation photos and a description of necessary mods.... Thanks in advance

The SMC saddle packs fit the X-5 better than other saddle pack due to them being smaller. I looked into using them in my X-5, but went with a lipo stick down the side for better balance.

ive seen pics in some of the threads on here, the ones i have seen, people are using the schumacher battery straps to hold the bats in, you will need to drill holes for the battery straps and it looks like a close fit to the slipper nut assembly, but it all fits, like CCristo, i run the stick pack down the 4 cell side, this takes a lot more work to get right and the car does balance up nicely left to right, my car ended up only 30g lighter on the batt side
