Sky.... are they calling my Bluff, what would you do...

Just following on from a few previous topics on sky... I had the following sky hd , and everything (bar sports), sky talk, paying around £52 a month. This includes free phone calls , i have to also pay Bt £10ish for the line and i also pay orange £5 a month broadband.. but thats just gone up as my mobile contract has gone Its 12 months old now, so i asked if they could do an offer to bring down the cost at all ,as virgin was offering free broadband which i was getting from orange at £5 month. Plus i had to rent out the Bt line also additional £10 a month or so. Sky offered me same price as now, same package, keep my hd box etc but no warranty now. give me free line as opposed to Bt cost of £10 ish a month and free 8mb broadband. norm cost of £5 obviously saving £5 month. I will still pay for my skytalk though as its allready in my bundle of around £52 ish etc. This was offered 2 weeks ago. Today, I just rang up to see if they would put us on the max broadband upto 16 mb (cost of £10 a month ) and i would pay the extra £5 a month ( the difference ) to be more in line with what virgin are offering ( they do 20mb) and was then told that they would only give me the phone line now and not even the 8 mb £5 a month service for free. hmmm, i appreciate the saving of £10 a month, but thats not as good as the original deal offered, and i didnt take the original deal as i needed my mac code from orange. Sky agent at the time, knew there was no deal to be had that day and just offered me that as to what to expect etc. Just put the call in reg the sky max broadband, and was politely told that they cant do that. So i referred to Virgins offer, not sure if he was trying my bluff, so i decided to cancel, to see if they could better my deal at all. Iv got 31 days to shop around, but what would you guys do? If they allready offer you something, then retract it, what would you guys do??? Thanks. Col.

Hmm, why has it bunched up all my writing and not paragraphed it, how i had it on another forum? Iv tried editing it. but it still reverts back to standard? Anyone have an idea?

Sky havent got a clue. I phoned up today to get Skysports odd channels so its half the price and the idiot on the phone said i could only have the full package even though i used to have the odd channels and online it says i can change it like that. Im probably going to go to Virgin if they sort out their HD channel lineup.
