dx3s brake trim affecting throttle trim??

I have couple of DX3S transmitters, and i have them set up with the on-the-fly throttle trim switch set to brake trim.

When I trim the brake down to say 50%, the throttle seems to go out of trim with the motor staring to run slowly forwards.

can anyone tell me why this happens?
