Default Excessive play in zx 5 steering linkage

Hi folks, Im strugling to get rid of the play in my steering linkage on my zx 5. the original plastic one either siezes up when tightened or wobbles like a dick in a shirt sleeve when its free!!

iv now got a 3 Racing ally jobby and it no better, yes its got bearings and a little more adjustment butt the play in the thing is shocking!! the play is coming from the cross beam were in screws into the servo saver and idler!! its that bad that iv got about 2 degrees toe wobbling about in the front wheels.

Does anyone else have this problem or does anyone know of a fix???? iv tried everything i can think of but cant sort it...its doin my nut...lol

Any help at all will be great....thanks

Paul

Thanks for the reply guys, i still cant find the part numbers for these bearings. the part iv got trouble with is 'LA22' on the sp diagram but i cant find or cross referance the part in the options list.

The only two flanged bearings in the options list are 'BRG007f' (3x6x2.5) and 'BRG0013f' (4x7x2.5)

can you help with a part number or were to look???

cheers

Kyosho are the most expensive source for these bearings!

A lot of model helicopters use 3.5x6 flanged bearings in the control yokes ..... can get them at very good prices (about 1/4 that of the kyosho parts)
