Default Numbing steering XX4

Hey all,

Silly question but is there any other way of numbing down the steering on a Losi xx4 other than changing the front springs or cutting the top of the caster block flush?

Thanks

On the front castor blocks cut the little stubby bit the ballstud sits on so its flat with the rest of it if that makes sence.

LOL @ Lee

Garry, you could try going up 5 wt oil in the front, or raise the ride height a mm or 2.

Do you have to much front end in general? or is it to much steering into or out of the corner?

Try leaning the top of the shocks in, or adjust the toe in/out.

If you are on the inside hole on the front wishbone you could try the middle hole.... this is how I have always run my X-5 / XX4's on high grip carpet tracks

If what I have suggested doesn't help enough then maybe you could post your setup and we'll begin some analasis

Ashley, you are quite right, the XX4 was one of the best cars ever made, thats why we recognized this at X-Factory and chose this as our platform for our own 4wd - the X5 which went one step further.

The Squared now just makes it even better still

Not enough times Ash!!!!! We still have not sent you any....LOL

You only need to put it in there once mate, then hit the pay button and you would become the proud owner of one of the best 2wd's on the market (B4) and the X6 conversion that makes it even better!!!
