With the mid conversion for the KF2, got me thinking...
How about a low grip conversion for the Cobra B42/v2 as well as the stopping of production of the B5MCE.. I had a few ideas... 1) Motor to rear with B44.3 rear gearbox (not sure how motor mount would work) with B5m front end 2) 3 gear B5M rear end, transverse shorty lipo with B5M front end,but heavier than B5M factory lite. The 22 3.0 seems to be finding favour in this guise in lower grip conditions. Thoughts please? M.

Hi Mark,
I've been looking to do something like that. I have a few B44 bits and a running Centro C4.1 which I don't want to pull apart. I managed to pick up a Cobra type conversion but it looks more compatible with the B5. I'm going to look at a mates B5 and see if it would work ok plus a local company to me has two CNC machines so I'm going to see if it would be work doing a full chassis with kick up included. Mike |
