Default gearing advice

off to petit next weekend and in need of some gearing advice for a 4.5 turn, got choices of a 76, 78, or 81 spur any advice would be brill

I ran my Novak 5.5R (sold as far far too much grunt) on 21/78 .... currently running a Novak 6.5L on 23/78.

So based on that I'm guessing (and it is just a guess) 19/78 as a starting point ..... it's going to be far far far too much motor though for indoors!!

i'd drop to a 17/78 unless it's a particularly long flowy track. i used to run this with a 4.5 in my lazer.
