hi jon,

snrc is probably the club closest to you that races regularly, normally something on twice a month weather a winter series roung or trophy day or a round of another series.

you can bring your license along and pay on the day if you want to. its about a 5min drive off the m6 junction. my local track and a superb bunch of people. there is not anyone that wouldnt help you.

next meeting is next sunday ( 18th jan )

nnrc is just off the m6 too and good, but ive not been since its all been change, although its said to be better than before.

there is also a track near donnington park i think its http://www.drcorc.co.uk/ . their track is open most weekends for practice i think but check first. it has changed a bit since i last went ,friendly guys. i think they hold occasional trophy days and rounds of the emnorc series.

frankley is also a great track and i think is open on saturdays for practice if there is no meeting on the following day, just check with them for details.
