Default which is the best electric shaver

I,ve had the philips hq8150 for the past year and it is totally crap. I need a shaver that can actually shave under the chin and neck, This thing cost me £119 when new and has never done a good job from day one. Its like shaving with sandpaper
anyone got any good recommendations

Ive never got on with electric shavers. Always leave me rough, patchy and red-raw.

When I have a goaty I use some hair clippers to trim it. When I am going smooth I use an original Mac3 - far better than the Turbo, Nitro, Porno, Oxo etc versions.

Default Braun is awesome

I bought a Braun Series 5 electric razor when my Remington finally died on me (after several years).

I couldn't be happier and I am pretty picky about electric razors. The Braun is the best one I have owned.

I find rotary shavers utter rubbish compared to foil shavers. All whiskers aint equal though so what suits one wont suit another.

Braun or Remington foil I'd reccommend and look for a decent trimmer onboard as long neck whiskers need chopping down before the proper razor bit will pick them up if you havent shaved in a while.

Got that one a couple of weeks back and been impressed with it. Had gone back to wet after a couple of crappy electrics but this one seems good. Still not quite as good as wet but can use electric at work whilst being paid.
