We've been working with Craig Collinson on a multi-optional chassis for the TM2v2 for about 8 months and it has finally be given the thumbs up by the big lad himself, here's what Craig had to say about it himself:
The TM2v2 has a 10mm shorter chassis than its predecessor which makes the car more nimble and responsive through tighter turns. This is great when racing on small or technical layouts, but on larger high grip tracks a longer chassis can help calm the car down making it more forgiving and allowing you to push harder. I’ve worked closely with Graham North from Atomic Carbon to develop a carbon chassis for the TM2v2 which allows multiple layouts using one chassis. The chassis which we’ve developed allows you to run the car as standard or 6mm longer. We also included the option of moving the lipo and motor mount 6mm further back allowing multiple weight distribution options. Going from standard length chassis to 6mm longer takes a matter of minutes, meaning you can very quickly switch between layouts to see what suits the track you’re racing on without having your car in bits to change an entire chassis. The only additional parts needed in conjunction with this chassis is a longer prop shaft (TU0447) and a TM4 top deck (T04102). These parts are only needed if using +6mm layout with the motor mounts in the forward position. I would highly recommend this multi-optional chassis from Atomic Carbon. Craig Collinson. We are just about to cut the first batch of chassis. It will be priced at £50 plus shipping. If you are interested in a chassis from the first batch pm me as it is not on the website yet.
