Default Bj4 spares availabilty

Hi guys, im new to 1/10 and am looking to buy a bj4. What are they like for spares and does s-m-d stock all the spares for them?

Or am i better off getting a b44?

a bj4 is a b44 but minus the drive shafts and slipper so iwould say if its the right price buy the bj4

How about spares? Does s-m-d stock them or is there a shop who specialises in them?
