Our friends at Answer-RC sent us news of their new carbon composite clutch shoes which have been under development for many months to offer the best performance and lifespan around. The shoes even some with a complete range of clutch springs included.

These carbon composit shoes have been developed to offer excellent performance on loose or slippery tracks where a smoother engagement than the ANSCS0001 High Bite Low Wear Clutch Set As with the other Answer-RC clutch sets these come with 3 complete sets of springs (0.9 1.0 and 1.1mm) for you to adjust the clutch tune as suits you and your driving style best.

A ligher spring allows the clutch to engange earlier with more progeression. A thicker spring allows the engine to rev higher prior to engagement of the shoe coming in with more bite and more aggression.
If driving on a low grip surface it is generally considered best to run a lighter spring making the car easier to drive out the corners. Suitable for pretty much all 1/8th buggies and truggies on the market including, Caster, Hobao, Hong Nor, Mugen, Kyosho, LRP and many more.
