Firstly, try rebuilding them with no rebound (shafts all the way up)

Secondly, ask Santa for the Pro alloy shocks. Not only do they seal better but the bladders are better too

To be totally honest, you are always going to draw air into the plastic shocks. They were just designed to be a cheap part of the kit, if you want any form of reliability from your shocks you need to upgrade them

The way I build them is to fill the shocks, place the bladder on top of the oil and expell enough oil so that the bladder sits flush with the shock body. Then screw the shock top on by 1-2 turns. Once you've done that slowly move the shaft upwards all the way then slowly screw the shock top on all the way making sure that the shaft is securely held in the fully in position.

This works well with the alloy shocks....but with the plastic shocks you will struggle

I have a full set of the std blaze alloy shocks for sale if your interested. They are well worth the upgrade. They are also fully built ready to go (so you dont have to fiddle with the annoying seal clips!!!).

£20 for a full set, and paypal accepted.

Cheers
Mark
